One fateful summer, Hikaru becomes an entirely different person, to the point where Yoshiki is convinced this isn't Hikaru at all. I like that the standard boy love 'jobs' of the characters are a bit different... The series stars Keiichirou Tachibana, a top salesman who suddenly decides to quit his job and open up a bakery.

For many, their relationship has strong BL vibes, making it well worth checking out for fans of the genre. That's all thanks to its wholesome slice-of-life story, following the adorable relationship between an office worker and his new boss. However, things take an unexpected turn for him when his newfound ability reveals that his handsome co-worker, Yuichi Kurosawa, harbors a secret crush on him.

Cherry Magic! follows Adachi and Kurosawa as they navigate their relationship as it transitions from mere co-workers to something more.

While watching the anime, I couldn't relate to this character, his personality was flat and by the end, we don't know much about him other than about his marriage. BUT I wish the hot scenes were done a little bit better. Overall, not a great experience.

This is just your typical yaoi, fits the genre if that's what you're looking for, but overall not recommended.

My issue was with the story. Overall, he wasn't an interesting character.

Design and art:
The only plus for this forsaken anime. The captain clearly has no interest in Ranmaru's personality or life and only wants to bang him, which is far from being romantic in my opinion.

Characters:
The captain is a disgrace to Italians, even though ...he's just a fictional character.

20 Cherry Magic! There are a couple of hot scenes if you're into your boy smut & there are some quite funny moments as well as a little action thrown in for good measure. It's a mind-bending and terrifying story that combines horror and the supernatural with elements of BL, unlike anything else the genre has to offer.

This harrowing series follows Yoshiki as he navigates his nightmarish reality and grapples with his grief, all while he grows closer to the new Hikaru. However, for those able to overlook the more problematic aspects of the film, it's now available to stream on Crunchyroll.
